Just for your information: IE8 cannot degrade nicely without Respond.js. Because without media queries, it will use the "mobile first" version of bootstrap, which means that everything will be displayed like if they were on a mobile phone. Anyway, if we can integrate Respond.js too, it is not a problem anymore.
