Andy,
I've tried this. It seems that this may be a problem with the
lease not being expired when I go to get a new one. I don't get
any DHCP erros, I can see the server send the packets to my PC
but when I run winipcfg and to a release / renew I get
Error
Access denied renewing adapter '"'
OK
Any ideas ???
Ted, do you remember anything like this ???

Windows can be a bit wierd about this. It will refuse the address it is is
offered from the pool, and try and renew the address it had previously (not
all versions of Win9X do this though). Try releasing all leases, then
rebooting the PC, including a power cycle to reset the nic completely.
