Hello ,

        It seems that is a bug in nsupdate.c. Pasarad, do you have a domain
name defined in the dhcpd.conf file :
        option  domain-name     "your.domain.name";

It would be helpful to see your dhcpd.conf, /etc/resolv.conf,
results from nslookup your.domain.name from dhcpd.conf
