I am trying to move up from dhcp server 2.0b1pl6 to 2.0b1pl18, but I
get the following error message, generated by the file common/lpf.c
in the dhcp dist when I try to start the new pl18 dhcpd:

Socket: Protocol not available -- make sure CONFIG_PACKET AND
CONFIG_FILTER are defined in your kernel configuration.

I am running Redhat Linux 5.2 with kernel 2.2.4. Both
CONFIG_PACKET and CONFIG_FILTER were defined in the
.config file before I built the kernel.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to get it working?

Thanks
