Yes, I saw this when I upgraded from pl6 to pl18. The problem machines
were running a version of NCSA Telnet for DOS. I did eventually find a
DOS telnet that would work, but that version had some problems with it's
VT100 emulation. At that point I left for a week. My co-workers must
have come up with a solution (or the users just gave up) during that
time because I haven't been bothered about the problem since I got back.
I'll have to follow up on Monday and find out what happened, because I
know that they didn't mess with the DHCP server.
