Thanks Ted, It's my fault.
and Sorry David.
I think below statement means more than one ip address on one interface.
"The giaddr provided by the router will be sufficient to provide the class
information
for the various subnets. "
like following
"interface fe0
ip addr 192.168.200.1 255.255.255.0
ip addr 192.168.211.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
ip addr 192.168.221.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
"
then Cisco router fill send giaddress primary address of that interface
(except cable interface)
So I suggest shared network.

I would like to use the 3.0 alpha server to provide DHCP to clients that
will be connected to cisco 3810 routers.
The giaddr provided by the router will be sufficient to provide the class
information for the various
subnets.
Is there an archive of this list that I can access for
information before I start pestering folks?
-Dave

I don't see anything in David's message that suggests he needs to use
the shared-network statement, although I don't see anything that
suggests that he doesn't either, so I'm not sure that your suggestion
will be helpful to him.
David, don't use the shared-network statement unless you are running
more than one IP subnet on the same wire. If you use it
inappropriately, it will cause you endless grief.
