Hum.. sorry but I didn't explain right my question.

I've a DHCP server tat is runing ok.

I was new in the dhcp world (I'm still) an I did a configuration based on
a long lease time.

But, after a while I need to make a new configurarion in a hour.

I had a
x.x.x.254
255.255.255.0
to
x.x.x.62
255.255.255.192

my pool of dhcp was 32-61 and I keep it like that.

Since almost all the computers had renew in that day I could only wait for
them to try to renew again or go to every computer and make them renew.

when I ask this question about NACK I was expecting that somehow the DHCP
server could notify all its clients that the configuration had change and
that they should renew.
This means that the dhcp could force clients to renew so that there were
not to much time a computers stays without net.

I know that I should have changed the lease to a little time like an hour
2 or 3 days before. But as i said, I was new in this and I didn't expect
this change. :)

yes, version 3 is looking very interesting.
I don't know much about it so forgive mf this is also a dumb question.
Is v3 stable so that I can put it working in a net with about 50
computers?

TIA
