Dear team,

I installed V3.0-alpha 980423 on our dhcp/name/web/etc. server running
RH Linux 5.2 with kernel 2.2.4.

It ran for a short time, then stopped.

...and then there was silence (from the log)
and phone calls from students who could no longer access tcp/ip
services.  I rapidly reinstalled dhcp-2.0b1pl26, at which the logs
showed a flurry of DHCPREQUESTs and DHCPACKs and the phone was silent
again.  Sorry, I couldn't test it better than that, since we have many
classes that depend on the dhcp server working.
