Hi all,
I have been running ISC dhcp server on Solaris, to give out Private
addresses. We have 6 Private ip subnets from
192.168.131.x to 192.122.136.x which are mapped to our official IP
subnet ranges . Currently to cover all the subnets, I am running DHCP
server on 6 interfaces on a Single machine.I wanted to have a backup
server which needs to cover same number of subnets, but don't have 6
interfaces.
Is there a better way to run DHCP server with a single interface , which
can give out IP address ranges for multiple subnets ? SO all I want to
know is if there is a method where in my DHCP server has a primary
interface 192.168.131.x and can give out IP addresses on all other
subnets 192.168.131.x to 192.168.136.x
Thanks
