No.   However, if you have entered A and PTR records for the addresses
your DHCP server will assign in the DNS, you can have the server get
the hostname from DNS.   To do this, write ``get-lease-hostnames true;'' 
in your dhcpd.conf.

The dhcp-options(5) manual page has a complete list of all the options
you can send to the client.

The transactions are logged through syslog, so if you configure syslog
to log info-level messages from the daemon facility, you'll get a log
of all the DHCP messages the server received or sent.
