This actually sounds like a problem with your Linux machine, not
dhcpd. When the DHCP server unicasts a DHCPACK to a particular IP
address, it is up to the kernel's IP routing subsystem to figure out
where to send it. Clearly ppp0 is the wrong place. You need to get
your routing table right - your Linux machine should not be sending
packets destined for the local wire out over the ppp interface.
I think you probably need to set up some static routes, but this may
also be a routing bug. Can you send us the output from ``netstat -rn''
before and after the problem with ppp happens?
