We have an environment where there are NT DHCP server(s) giving IP
configuration to PC's and bootp servers are used for printers and
networking devices. Sometimes the printers end up getting configured
from the DHCP server(s). Is there a known method to prevent the NT DHCP

server from supplying IP configuration to printers?

If the NT DHCP server does not have a method of ignoring a request from
a printer, then would it be reasonable to create a client tag which when

received would have the effect of saying ignore this server?

Unix DHCP servers which support selection by the vendor class do not
have this problem.
