PROBLEM
After upgrading from pl6 to pl17, dhcpd barfs on dhcpd.conf with the
complaint (the ^@'s are NULs).
/etc/dhcpd.conf line 39: expecting string or hexadecimal data.
host act2prt { hardware ethernet 00:60:b0:14:ab:4e; fixed-address act2prt

/etc/dhcpd.conf line 40: expecting string or hexadecimal data.

Configuration file errors encountered -- exiting
exiting.
Lines 39-40 of /etc/dhcpd.conf read:
host act2prt { hardware ethernet 00:60:b0:14:ab:4e; fixed-address
act2prt.pppl.gov; option host-name act2prt; }
host b143-lp4517 { hardware ethernet 00:00:c9:11:35:b6; fixed-address
b143-lp4517.pppl.gov; option host-name b143-lp4517; }
TEMP FIX
Downgrade to pl6.
