Hi Damilola,

I've now tried importing your 1.4 database to DHIS 2.. One thing which trips
us up is that you have three identical entries in the field
DataElementNameAlt1. Such names must be unique (in fact, I would call this a
bug in 1.4, it should enforce uniqueness). Since you are not using this
field for any of the other 2932 dataelements, I just removed these (the same
text is in the DataElementDescription field).

Similarly, in the DataElementCode field, you had the value R3056 twice. I
changed one of them to R3057.

Further, in the OrgUnit table, you had multiple instances of OrgUnitShort
being "MVCT", "Ifelodun LGA" and the following: Query5 *Query5*
OrgUnitShort Akpet TB Site Alkaleri GH FP Site Bassa LGA Irepodun LGA kn
Moh Abdul Was InPatiet RAPAC CSO (Lagos) RCCG/RAPAC (Lagos)
Surulere LGA SWAAN
CT Site (Lagos)

I added provicial prefixes or similar to make them unique.

Ideally, we should check all such possibilities both in 1.4 and before
importing to DHIS 2, but we have not found the time to do that just yet.

Knut

P.S.
Another difference between 1.4 and 2.0 is that 2.0 allows for
multidimensional dataelements, so it will hopefully be possible to reduce
the number of dataelements significantly. How to do that efficiently remains
an open question though, we have not even started to approach that subject
(and will not have capacity to deal with it for a while).
