This may be old news to the list - I just discovered it and I'm new to
the list - but I've got to know whether what I am experiencing is a
known bug. It was not mentioned anywhere in the FAQ.
Between version 84 and 85, I had to revise each and every one of my
diagrams: When I would open a version 84 document in version 85, I
would get hundreds of "Error parsing point." dialog boxes, and if GNOME
didn't bomb due to the number of open dialog boxes, the diagram would be
all snookered up.
I thought that it must be a peculiar backwards-compatibility problem,
but I just installed version 86 and I'm getting the __same__ problem
with all my version 85 files.
I __really__ don't want to have to go back and revise each and every
diagram again! Is there something I am missing? Is this a known
problem? Has a fix been found?
If anyone would be able to save me what looks like it will be several
hours of futzing, I'd be grateful.

P.S. Is this the appropriate forum for this kind of question? Is there
a bug tracking site used with Dia?
