UML: associations, objects in general

  Associations are not very functional, I think:
        1- Associations are based on zigzag lines, which is not always
good. Why can't I have straight oblique line connecting two classes;

        2- Multiplicity sometimes gets clobered by something, either the
class itself, or the arrow at that end of the association. That not always
happens. Depends on the direction.

  One other thing. It would be most useful to allow user to simply add
connection points to objects at any time.

  If this is too much of a burden for developers right now, can you please
point me to the source files where I can fix this, so I'll send a patch? I
really need this done...
