Amusing is correct. It's gratifying in an off hand way to see such a response to the link I began.
And I have learned a lot reading the responses made within your group.
But when I started this thread it was to try to gain some tips for "connecting and correcting" the information gaps between those in the scientific community with the experiences and knowledge, and those hysterical (both critics and supporters) "citizens" wounding AD implementation, ... and those like myself who have some means to implement change in my community and region, but require my presentations and proposals be with informed opinion.

Admittedly the level of the questions I have posted are more than likely too lowly for this group list to answer in a simplified form. And it would certainly dumb down the current dialogues. Make no mistake though, I am converting many postings on this list to PDFs and cross referencing to my text book readings, looking up definitions and studying. The knowledge here is impressive. But for a 60 year old design engineer, it's a whole new world!

I worked in the fields as a kid helping my 80 year old farmer neighbor. He told me quite a few times "Son, not only do you not know the answers, you don't know the questions!"

So although it's in nobody's job description, suffering a few fools and responding to some ignorant but sincere questions, may be the best way to close that gap between fact and fantasy.
