The Media Center suddenly found itself with two fellowships for our Mobile
Media program:

Mobile Media: Opportunities and Strategies for the Mobile, Broadband
Generation, April 26-29, Los Angeles

Thanks to generous support from the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism
Foundation of Oklahoma City, the fellowships cover registration(regular
tuition: $2,500)and hotel fees and up to $300 travel expenses. Recipients
must be able to attend the entire program and take on the role of program
reporters.

We invite bloggers and leaders of small, independent, alternative or
start-up media ventures to submit applications.

I know this is very last minute, but it's a really great opportunity to rub
elbows with some people on the vanguard of mobile technology and to give
them your 2 cents! And these fellowships are hardly ever offered to the
general public.

You can find out more about the program here:

If you're interested, please send me a brief statement about who you are and
why you're interested in the program. The application deadline is noon ET,
tomorrow, April 12, 2005.
