Hi everyone,

I've just posted a followup story to the USDA MyPyramid.gov website on DDN. I interviewed a representative from the USDA, during which I informed her of the site's accessibility problems, which she says will be corrected. The article offers some suggestions of steps the USDA could take to ensure that offline populations have access to the same information.

MyPyramid.gov: Achieving E-Health for All?

On April 19, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) unveiled its newest "food pyramid" on a website called MyPyramid.gov. While the website seeks to give the general public greater access to nutritional information, it raises many questions as to what happens when certain demographics who would benefit the most from this information are also on the wrong side of the digital divide.
