China Youth Camp - Challenge: TOMORROW

This 19-day adventure for teens ages 12 to 16 will focus on cultural
immersion, partnership building and becoming tomorrow's leaders who will
create the world they want to live in. One hundred American youth will meet
and learn with 100 Chinese youth from rural China's Henan Province, followed
by 100 Chinese youth from Beijing to engage in creativity, problem-solving,
science, and service learning projects. Travel from Los Angeles begins
July 5, with campers returning to LA on July 23, for a cost of $3,500 per
person, all inclusive. Challenge: Tomorrow is a partnership of Global
Interactions, Destination ImagiNation's Enrichment Programs, EdVisions
Schools, The China International Conference Center for Science and
Technology, Global SchoolNet Foundation, and SIAS International University.
Pre- and post-study courses are available, and teachers, counselors and
advisors are also being recruited. Sponsors are sought to support these
future leaders in their endeavors.
