I think that's incorrect.

A simple thought: if you have graphics talents and inclination there's a 
TON of opportunity to apply them all over dlang.org and dconf.org. Cue 
my desperate attempts for a good DConf logo and general look. Ironically 
the only untouchable part is the logo. ("The one door you shouln't open...")

Have at it. Just leave the logo alone.
