I agree.... but so is the documentation for virtually everything else I've ever used too. I'd take D's over Ruby's for example.

I think the D docs are actually pretty good so I dont get why ppl say otherwise. I do much prefer the "New library reference preview" to the standard layout for the std. The only thing D needs is more examples of stuff online and easily searchable. I can Google something in Python and find a number of examples which is nice for work.
