Back when GDC was under its previous leadership, I made two separate attempts to merge GDC with DevKitARM (ie, homebrew for Nintendo platforms). I achieved partial success, but everything about the experience was such a royal PITA that I'm more than a little hesitent to go anywhere near GCC again (especially compiling GCC).
