May I suggest the following for a very informative treatise on the
various modes, but most specifically DominoEX. The issue of bandwidth,
selective fading, phase distortion and other ionospheric effects are
discussed from both a theoretical and a practical point of view.

DominoEX is now available on a few Windows digital modem programs. I
believe that the latest versions of MixW and Multipsk both have this
mode enabled. The developers of DominoEX offer a free program that runs
in Windows that is DominoEX only. Available on the web site given
above. DominoEX is not yet available for any modem program that runs on
the Linux operating system. That may change in the not too distant future.
