Bill...THanks for your input on this matter. I did want to make another post on this subjuect just in case someone else ever comes across this problem. I did finally get a hold of Skip Teller, KH6TY (DigiPan) and he mentioned that some sound cards have this offset problem. In the CONFIGURE menu > SAMPLE RATE CORRECTIONS menu > You'll then select either TX or RX. In my case, I had to put in 5000 ppm in the RX setting and this seems to have correct my offset problem. There's also a brief description of this in the DigiPan 2.0 manual.
Thanks again everyone... 73's Randy KB3IFH --- In [email protected], "Bill P." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Only in regards to the Windows sound card sample rate: In windows go > to Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder/Edit > Tab /Sound Properties and adjust the sample rate. > > Its also possible to go through the control panel, Sound or use the > Sound Card Manager that came with your sound card. > > I recently changed my sound card sample rate to the highest setting > available on this IBM Thinkpad laptop but its not clear if PSK > performance has improved.
