CW Get is not helpful for "learning" code.

I learned CW by doing three things...

1. Using a code training program like Morse Runner (practice for
callsigns only) or the Koch CW Trainer available at
http://www.g4fon.net/ . The Koch CW Trainer is perhaps the highest
rated for getting people to learn code and pass a test.

2. (When totally new at code) listening to a code tapes in the car for
10 minutes per day while driving to work , and also saying the code
out loud for 10 minutes per day while reading road signs (di di dit
dah dah dah dah di dah hah dit when I saw a stop sign)

3. Listening to code on the air, working a few slow ones each week.

If you have a license to get on the HF bands, I will be glad to work
you as slow as you would like. Check 14048 , 7120 (days) and 7055
(nights) for "CQ SKCC". The Straight Key Centrury Club has a bunch of
great ham's that will work you as slow as you need. If not, just
listen.

As a new ham-in-training many years ago, it took me just six weeks of
10 minutes per day practice to pass the 5 WPM (by the skin of my teeth).

Good luck, let us know how you are progressing.
