Thanks to all of the conversations here I decided to order a 12 volt adapter for my Panasonic cf-29. It's not has good as having a true 12 volt computer but certainly better then using an inverter.

In the box there was the computer, a touch screen, a keyboard and a cd with instructions and other things. No cables but it's standard d-sub. The item number on ebay is 180078953961 if you would like to watch it. /Torbjorn in Sweden ----- Original Message ----- From: ZPO To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, January 29, 2007 11:52 PM Subject: Re: [digitalradio] Computers that operate on 12 vdc Some of the brands I've used: Panasonic Toughbook (I'm typing this on a CF-18) Itronix (old 6250, ix250, ix260) Getac (some old - some new) Even though most of them aren't natively 12VDC, they often have 12V auto adpaters available. I used to have one for my CF27 that worked well. I've got a few 12V input to ATX output adapters that I think are around 200W total. They can be used with most of the Mini-ITX systems out there in various forms. Recent Activity a.. 24New Members Visit Your Group Give Back Yahoo! for Good Get inspired by a good cause. Y!
