You're right. Not needed at all. We can do anything with Part 15 equipment and rules all using unlimited encryption such as streaming music, downloading "highly artistic images" and work on commercial websites so there's no need to open up Part 97. Equipment is readily available and downright cheap for 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. All that's needed is a little more spectrum to expand the Part 15 bands. Anybody here know where they can find some essentially unused band segments? :-) or :-( ??? Bill
