Do you have transformers on both the audio going from rig->computer
AND computer->rig?

Is there a ground connection between your radio and the computer?
There shouldn't be.

Do you have a communication cable going between the rig and the
computer? You might try dialing in a 'noisy' frequency by hand and
then disconnecting the com cable to see if that makes a difference.

What kind of rig interface are you using?
