Hi Peter, The JT65A automatic button is the button labeled: "AUTO IS ON" You can easily see the "Auto button" in this image, it is red color: http://www.obriensweb.com/image15.jpg JT65A is a wonderful automatic mode! You can make QSOs without ever touching the keyboard. You never need to enter a callsign it does that for you... and with the fantastic weak signal decoding, it is "like shooting fish in a barrel". I love JT65A! I must say though, that it takes more movement of your hands to eat a bowl of soup than it does to complete a JT65A auto-QSO :) Automation technology is wonderful. 73 Bonnie KQ6XA
