The SB MP3+ is a standard bus card, not an external one. Been around for many years. Seems like with MEPIS I had to manually select the nv drivers when I was running on the HP AMD box. No other version of Linux could do this so far. SUSE has a good selection of video monitors but it apparently does not support all the newer monitors. Newer meaning something a couple of years old. Either that or there is something peculiar about the Samsung monitor, although it is a commonly available monitor. The help files in the Linux distributions have many frustrated users trying to get this monitor to work.
One of the things that Linux has not done is have a comprehensive list of equipment that actually has proven to work with Linux. I have seen some short lists of a few peripherals, but not really anything that covers the equipment that most people would purchase. 73, Rick, KV9U jgorman01 wrote: > Is the MP3 an USB card or pci? > > I'm using a westinghouse lcd and an external soundblaster audigy 2nx > USB soundcard, and sata hard drives.
