I have used most of the programs with my TS-530S.  The stability of the analog 
VFO is marginal for digital modes but with the VFO-230 external digital VFO the 
stability is quite good.  There is no computer interface for radio control but 
the digital mode interface is the same for most radios - isolation transformers 
for the audio and an optocoupler (or relay) for the PTT.  Mine has been in 
service almost continuously for the last 2 years.
