John,
I have used most of the programs with my TS-530S. The stability of the analog VFO is marginal for digital modes but with the VFO-230 external digital VFO the stability is quite good. There is no computer interface for radio control but the digital mode interface is the same for most radios - isolation transformers for the audio and an optocoupler (or relay) for the PTT. Mine has been in service almost continuously for the last 2 years.
