Hello All, I have seen this text mentioned at several places:
--------------- Hmmm. So the FCC is saying "If it is spread spectrum then it is not legal below 222 Mhz. But they also say they are not determining if it is SS or not. And that it is up to the individual operator to determine if their transmissions are a legal mode for the frequency they are operating" --------------- I have also seen that they, the FCC, would rule on it, where it the actual ruling posted? Who st the FCC made the statement , if it ever was made?? I have also seen that they, the FCC, would rule on it, where it the actual ruling posted? The FCC is the governing body, why do we not hear from them? Why does the ARRL not tell this to the US amateur community? 73 Rein W6SZ -----Original Message----- >From: Dave Wright <[email protected]> >Sent: Mar 4, 2010 3:40 PM >To: [email protected] >Subject: [digitalradio] ARRL/FCC Announcement about ROS > >http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2010/03/04/11377/?nc=1
