    - Dim: fixed compatibility with zsh(1): do not use status var,
      fix getopts use for ksh93, bash, BSD /bin/sh, pdksh and zsh.
    - Dim: get rid of $dimlib/$item/.dim/version file. Replace it
      by $dimlib/$item/.version directory, where each file is a
      checksum name which contains a version name.
      It makes version lookup scalable, and will allow local version
      name generation.
    
    Please note that the library format is incompatible with the
    previous versions and must be regenerated from the archive.
