- Dim: fix an infinite loop in dag().

Fixed a bug in 'dim clone': 'anc' and 'log' files are now always
created. Fixed a bug in 'dim import': extra descendants are not created
any more. Suppressed dead code related to the obsolete 'version' file.

branch.
