Good day. *Requirement details:* ** *Position* - Citix/Windows Admin *Location *- Hartford, CT *Duration* - 6 months contract *Rate* - $45 per hr *Start date* - ASAP *Description* - Client is looking for 2 Citrix specialists who are Citrix Administrator/ Windows Administrator They would like someone to be local, but if you have a great candidate dont be afraid to send them over. They must be able to work in a team atmosphere and communicate well with others. In the position they will be designing and implementing plans for Citrix 4.5. Please find more information below. Eight to ten years of related business and hands-on technical experience in Windows Systems Administration and support including a minimum of six years recent Citrix Server experience o Previous experience with a 24 x 7 Data Center Operations at a large (400+ server) firm and/or multi-geographic support responsibilities. *COMPETENCIES AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*: o Design, implementation, and management of a Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 Infrastructure o Design and implementation of Citrix XP to Citrix 4.5 migration plans. o Implementation and Publishing of applications on a Citrix server. o Managing ICA Clients o Packaging applications for installation on Windows Server 2003 o Deployment technologies, ie SMS, Altiris. o Managing Citrix Profiles in a Windows AD environment o Windows 2003 Operating System and Active Directory Group Policies o Integration of applications with close application dev team and end-user collaboration. o Extensive experience with installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting a large Citrix server farm. o Experience performing Windows 2000 or 2003 server builds. o Experience with Presentation Server, Secure Access Manager, Password Manager, Conferencing Manager, Application Gateway, and Access Gateway. o Experience with Microsoft Terminal Server including rights and security configuration in a multi-user environment. o Experience with Win2000/2003 and Active Directory, DNS, group policy, security policies, and maintenance. o Strong troubleshooting skills o Must be organized and detail-oriented. o Must have a team player attitude and thrive in a dynamic learning environment. o Competencies in distributed client management also required packaging, software delivery, pc build, etc. o Data center technologies experience required SQL, IIS, Win2k3 server, VPN. o Software virtualization, streaming, and other emerging technology experience.
