Knowledge of object orientated design (patterns, principles, pragmatic use). 2. Expert in the following technical areas: **a. Application Servers – JBOSS, (WebLogic Portal) **b. Core Java / JDK / Swing / RMI **c. Java EE – JDBC, JSP/Servlet, EJB, MDB, Swing components, Java Mail APIs, JNDI, JUnit, Maven, ANT. **d. RDBMS – Oracle **e. Java IDE – Eclipse **f. XML Related tools and technology **g. Struts, Spring, Hibernate Frameworks **h. Restful Web Services Design and Im-plementation **i. Ajax, JavaScript, JSON **j. Computer System Validation / Testing skills **3. Knowledge of software refactoring. 4. Advanced knowledge of database management and reporting support: Oracle (SQL or PL/SQL) and equivalent clinical database management or reporting system. 5. Understanding of clinical database management systems and/or relational databases as applied to clinical trials. 6.
