Java Architect (Our Direct Client requirement)
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
• Resource will be responsible for owning the architecture work stream
of the project;
working with architects on multiple teams to design the
architecture for the project.
This project will involve a portal application, middleware and
multiple existing applications.
• Participate in gathering requirements and translating them into a
robust system architecture.
• Will work closely with the Technical Lead, Infrastructure Lead, Data
Architect and Project Management to identify technical approaches
for systems as well as determine timelines for
implementation.
• Work with project management team and business unit in the
requirements gathering process to determine high level designs
• Responsible for providing high level systems design; this includes
specifying the component packaged and custom applications,
class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.
• Coding and designing low level design of more complex features
• Conduct code reviews of the system being developed
• Research and validate new technologies, provide the technical
solution base on it.
• Present the overview of the new technology to management or other
related team.
• Help the team understands the new technologies..
• Ensures that the system architecture is optimized for the most
efficient and effective use for multiple systems.
• Ensures that the system architecture is compliant with all DoITT
Standards.
• Skills required: Enterprise Architecture experience, experience with
IBM Websphere message broker and MQ Series, J2EE, Web Services,
Integration,
Security, Rules Engines (Blaze, SOLR or other), design and
knowledge of SOA, industry standards.

o Deployment Diagrams
o Configurations
• Modules for the system written in Java and PL/SQL
• Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
