*SCOPE OF SERVICES:*

*The Construction, Demolition and Abatement Project (CDA) is a multi-agency
effort to strengthen the City’s oversight and coordinated regulation of
construction, demolition and abatement operations.  In the summer of 2008, a
City taskforce comprised of members of the Mayor’s Office, Law Department,
Fire Department, Department of Buildings and Department of Environmental
Protection presented several recommendations in areas including, technology
and data sharing, legislation, and inspection protocols.  This solicitation
is for assistance with data sharing, an area where significant progress has
been made during the past year but where additional opportunities for
improvement exist.  *

*The scope of services to be performed by the selected individual includes:*

* •Work closely with a variety of people in DoITT, the Mayor’s Office, FDNY,
DOB and DEP, including commissioner-level managers, line employees, and IT
staff.*

*•Manage and define requirements including business justification, potential
new data exchanges, triggers, processes and quality assurance checks of data
exchanges between agencies*

*•Assist in the development of high-level systems design*

*•Create flow-charts and process diagrams*

*•Create and manage project plans, level of effort estimates *

*•Work with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products*

*•Develop integration and information exchange protocols*
