Title: IP engineer Location: Atlanta, GA Number of positions: 3 Duration: 6 months Rate: $40-$45 Round trip (economy Class) if the candidate is out of town. The resource should be technical RESPONSIBILITIES: . Providing routing and switching solutions for Engineering at client . Design, integrate, develop, and test IP/ data networking platforms for the client's voice and data networks while adhering to client's development process . Designing and troubleshooting various networking issues . Designing large and complex networks and supporting networking infrastructure . Engineer IP products including routers, switches, load balancers, benchmarking tools, and standards compliancy test tools . Assist other Network Engineering teams in the analysis and diagnosis of problems. Remain current on security products, standards and practices . Working on the migration of wireless data services from regional data centers to national data centers . Implementing and designing solutions to meet new business requirements . Resolving routing issues between various data centers . Completing work assigned through internal order system REQUIREMENTS: . MS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent technical degree plus 7+ years telecommunications industry experience . US work authorization . Cisco certification (CCNP, CCDA, CCNA), CCIE a PLUS . IP background and knowledge for complex networks and systems . Understand the operations of RADIUS, WAP, DNS and GPRS services . Knowledge and understanding of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN and be able to create configurations . Understanding of frame, DS-1, DS-3 . Superb written, oral communications and presentation skills required . Excellent English language skills . Ability to Consistently Execute Against a Defined Set of Objectives . Effective Troubleshooting Skills . Reporting & Presentation . Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure . Ability to travel . Ability to work in a high-speed, intense environment while providing consistent results .
