One of our Direct Clients in NYC is looking for a BI Developer. The details are as follows: The candidate should have a working knowledge of Business Intelligence and underlying technologies. They should have the ability to embrace new technologies quickly and apply their knowledge and experience to projects using these technologies. Primary responsibilities include working with internal project managers, as well as clients, to design and develop solutions within the standard Client BI framework. The applicant will be responsible for day-to-day development work, including: * Database development activities including database and table creation in a SQL environment to enable the generation of cubes via Analysis Services. * Programming intermediate to complex SQL and stored procedures * Utilizing a combination of stored procedures and Integration Services to enable required data extract, transform and load procedures and packages (ETL). * Utilizing Analysis Services to produce multidimensional models, including the construction of Data Views, Fact and Dimension tables, and building Cubes * Developing complex, parameterized reports through Reporting Services from variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes * Working knowledge of other presentation tools such as ProClarity, Cognos, etc. The candidate will have responsibility for multiple projects and clients, requiring the candidate to have the ability to multi-task and manage their own workload.
