Location:Washington, DC *Skills and Experience required of a Web Editor* * * *C.4.1 *The contractor shall possess strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to present information and communicate ideas electronically. The contractor shall have experience in website management and technology, including site maintenance processes/procedures. The contractor shall have an understanding of customary programming languages e.g., HTML, Java Script, Flash General familiarity with Content Management Systems including Cimbrian's DSF. Must know and understand Web 2.0 technologies and have the ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of requests that need to be completed within 24 hours graphics design experience is not required, but would be an asset. *C.4.2 *The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 3-5 years of experience in a web and print editing environment; related experience may be considered. Candidates should have a familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically, he or she reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
