- Technical skills
- Very strong Java/J2EE skills, with emphasis on web development
- High proficiency in JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
- Experience with Eclipse and SVN
- Follow good practices of software development and testing
- Familiar with EDI. Hands on experience with Gentran Integration
Suites and BPML
- Experience with Oracle DB and SQL
- Prior experience with system design a huge bonus
- Non-Technical skills
- Established problem solver. Ability to learn quickly and work
independently.
- Experience with direct client interaction. Ability to communicate
effectively with non-technical users.
- Interest in learning about client's business. Have a
client-focused and can-do attitude.
- Driven and result oriented. Ability to take ownership of a task
from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Ability to gather requirements from non-technical users and
translate it into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with establishing iteration plans or project
plans and task prioritization.
