Job Title: SQL DBA Architect
Duration : 3 months contract position
Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Description:

Technical Architect
•       Experience with the following phases of Enterprise Architecture
Framework:
       - Architecture Vision
       - Application Architecture
       - Infrastructure Architecture
       - Data Architecture
•       Ability to create the following documents:
       - System Architecture Diagram
       - High Level Solution Architecture
       - Logical / Physical Architecture Diagrams
•       Experience with the following Technology Stack:
       - SSIS - 3 years minimum experience
       - SSRS - 1 year minimum experience
       - C# and .NET Framework - 5 years
       - SQL Server - 5 years minimum experience with 1 year minimum
experience on SQL Server 2008
•       Able to demonstrate the knowledge on conceptual and physical
architecture of the application
•       Able to advise the team of the Capacity, Sizing and Deployment of
the overall application
•       Able to identify and/or customize the enterprise frameworks for the
cross cutting features like security, logging, exception handling
•       Knowledge in the Architecture Patterns and Design Patterns

Data Architect
•       Able to design and develop database objects and procedural code
•       Able to create stored procedures, triggers, constraints and ETL
(extraction, transformation and data loading) program.  Minimum three
(3) years experience developing stored procedres           ETL code
and associated code in a MS-SQL Server and Windows environment, prefer
experience with SQL Server 2008
•       Able to provide database design and support for other Microsoft
applications using SQL databases including Sharepoint and Team
Foundation Server
•       Able to design SQL Server instances including instance
configuration, max degree of parallelism (MAXDOP), collation
•       Able to design instance authentication such as choosing
authentication type, logon triggers, and regulatory requirements
•       Able to design instance-level security configurations such as
Windowsservice accounts, filestrea, proxy, credentials, instance-level
premissions
•       Able to design a failover clustering solution such as cluster
resource group, cluster setup considerations, number of nodes and
service accounts
•       Able to design a backup and recovery strategy
