I've been looking into the sources and modifed a little, and found out
that I can have a different pixelformat in a window than the display
layer. Unless I've overlooked something in the API  there currently isn't
a way to sepecify this. I really need this feature with my videoprovider
(getting YV12, I420, UYVY or YUY2). If none else will try to get this in I'll
do my best and send a patch :)
