I am playing with some of the new work that Ville Syrjl contributed
to DirectFB as of late to support the second head of the Matrox G400
in TV-Out mode. I am excited to say the least about these
developments.

I have put matrox-crtc2 and matrox-tv-standard=ntsc into my
/etc/directfbrc and am using both mplayer with the dfbmga driver and
the dfbtv test app that Billy Biggs wrote as my test applications.

What I am finding is that the picture is "too tall". That is, the top
and bottom of the picture is off the top and bottom (respectively)
of my television screen.

So to give an example, during playback with mplayer, I only see the
very bottom (like the last raster line) of the OSD in the top left
corner showing the time played. If I use dfbtv and put, say, CNN on,
I only see the very top of the scrolling text banner across the bottom
of the screen.

Any ideas why this is? Is there anything I can tune to bring the
picture back into the viewable area of my television screen?
