Cool. While talking about this, does the 2.5/2.6 kernel's matrox fb driver have all this irq stuff in it or will we continue to need to patch the vanilla source? As an aside, is anyone using 2.5.<latest> with DirectFB and the Matrox CRTC2 support? [ Drifting OT: ] I have the kernel preempt patch in my "pvr" kernel, but I wonder if running a 2.5 kernel with "native" pre-empt support would be any better. I also have the "O_STREAMING" patch to prevent the buffer cache from being poisoned by reading/writing media files. Is there anything comparible in stock 2.5/2.6? b. -- Brian J. Murrell
