i just tried your code and you did great work. you are - its bit a slow, but 
it works good. can you tune it a little more to get it running faster? i 
really like to use it. i have long been waiting for a xine or mplayer plugin 
and now its finally in a 'almost ready' state.

try to get it in the xine / directfb cvs if you fixed the speed issue. it 
would be worth it!
