I only have the rt.jar living in prefix/kaffe/jre/lib/, with 1.1.4, too.

Clean code from scratch for Kaffe AWT 1.1.5 or porting
the old one, but I doubt that it's worth to be ported ;)

I'd like to use LiTE as a basis for the new AWT, so future
support for peer components is there, but Swing isn't using
them anyways, or does it now?

Swing for AWT 1.1 should run with kawt, but kawt has some bugs.
