Hi,

there are two interesting postings on the git vs. subversion

Personally, I still prefer Mercurial because it is
much simpler to use (less commands, no repacking
or other maintanance on the server required). I also
don't follow Keith's "file truncation is so buggy
in Linux that using it risks repository integrity"
argument.
